-In California, the Tallac Historic Site near Taylor Creek on State Rt. 89 has accessible trails. The Site was once home to a grand resort, casino and summer homes for rich San Francisco families. Also, Taylor Creek offers several accessible trails.
-For those hardy individuals who accept the challenge to hike a 10-mile loop that rises about 3,255 feet in elevation, tie up the boots, don't forget your water, and hike the trail to Mt. Tallac. You won't be disappointed. In Nevada, the Kahle Trail is about 1 mile from the Inn across the state line. Kahle is a pleasant stroll and accessible to individuals with disabilities if you stay on the paved path. The paved trail meanders through meadows, a tableau of wooded groves and granite boulders, and down the road to Nevada Beach.
